TACCT was developed by ecrop GmbH (www.ecrop.de), a BaFin-regulated FinTech company specialising in crypto-securities services. ecrop GmbH acts as a crypto-securities registrar – this means that ecrop GmbH maintains a decentralised registry for electronic securities and ensures that their issue and transfer is technically and regulatory secure. This enables TACCT to leverage the advantages of digital securities through blockchain technology. Our slogan ‘Just Stars, no Stripes’ has a political-strategic dimension: It alludes to the US flag (‘Stars and Stripes’) and symbolises that Europe (with only stars in the EU flag) should act more independently in the defence sector. In the start-up context, ‘stars’ can also be understood as a metaphor for emerging companies (rising stars) in the European defence sector. This is a pragmatic, future-oriented approach to strengthening European defence capabilities in order to be a reliable partner and to be able to represent strategic interests independently. This is not an anti-American stance.

This second slogan highlights the bond and stock aspect of our offering and emphasises that every investment, even on a small scale, can help strengthen the European defence sector and Europe's strategic autonomy. It makes it clear that important progress can be made by combining many investments.
